Øystein Johansen is a theatre director, dramaturg, and pedagogue working with text-based and physical theatre.
He has a background from the Amsterdam University of the Arts, with training in movement-based performance, physical dramaturgy, and devised theatre practices. His work is grounded in an embodied approach to text and collaborative creation.
Øystein develops projects through Bunnyhead Productions, where he has worked as artistic director since 2013. His work has been presented in Norway and internationally, across both independent and institutional contexts.
